Episode 38-Bring Your Dog To Work Day

Welcome Talkers to episode 38. This time with 100 percent less missing audio files.

First up we dig into the reports coming out about the Blue Apron warehouse working condition. Biting, bomb threats, ect… and the larger problem between the branding and operations of all these tech starts ups and the reality of the work environment for the people they hire. Also, Rob used to work in a chicken factory?

Next we make up for lost topics by talking about the Snap Chat, (Snap Inc.) recording sunglasses. (28.42 for a WAYT rendition of Corey Hart’s classic I Wear My Sunglasses at Night.) We aren’t ready to shell out the cash just yet, but if cuter versions of the shades come out, we might reconsider.

Episode 37: Bustedcast

ep37-graphic

Hey talkers,

Sarah here. This is pretty much the most you’ll be hearing from me this week. My audio somehow managed not to record, and because of my own emotional issues, I just assumed Rob and Jess were ignoring me for like 20 minutes before I figured it out.

First up, Jess and Rob have a great conversation without me about Facebook for work and the challenges of getting the whole office on the same workflow system.

In the 2nd part of the podcast all three of us revisit the long lost topic of millennials. An article in Vice about the chosen generation, says we’ve stopped going out. The unfortunate reality is that most of us are just to tired to pull off a full work life and full social life these days. We are all very sleepy.

Then, we dive deep into the world of Nexflix binging and when they know you’re hooked on a series. It’s eerily accurate, don’t you think?
